The Scanpan CX+ cookware series features their most advanced nonstick coating yet in Stratanium+. Scanpan spent over two years researching and testing to create the Stratanium+ nonstick system from the ground up. Stratanium+ consists of 5-layers in which hard particles and wave-like layers interlock to reinforce the nonstick layer. This allows for exceptional searing ability not typical of nonstick pots and pans while improving the release and durability of the coating. In CX+, they have paired this amazing coating to a high performance 5-ply clad-aluminum construction with brushed stainless steel exterior. The multiple layers of aluminum and stainless steel ensure rapid heat response and even distribution. Stratanium+ nonstick is bonded directly to the pan, so it doesn’t blister, peel or scrape away, even when using metal utensils. Scanpan CX+ pans feature a beautiful brushed finish smooth exterior, are induction compatible and oven safe up to 480 degrees F. The full sized riveted stainless steel handles are rounded in shape, ergonomically designed and easy to grasp. Dishwasher and metal utensil safe. Made in Denmark and with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
